Published

After the end of an incredibly miserable basketball season, Kobe Bryant and his wife, Vanessa were spotted at the Los Angeles International Airport hand in hand … And based on the team’s poor season, hopefully the lovebirds were taking off for an exotic getaway.

Kobe sported a pair of sweats and sunglasses while Vanessa, also kept it cozy in a pair of black pants and an oversized sweater.

On Monday night, the Lakers pulled a huge win against the Utah Jazz, scoring a whopping 119. But sadly, not only was this season the worst in Lakers history, but it was a rough road for Kobe.

Earlier this season, Bryant sustained a torn Achilles tendon in his left ankle which left him out for several weeks before returning to the court ahead of schedule. But in December, nearly six games following his return, the NBA star fractured the lateral tibial plateau in his left knee, which essentially left him out for the remainder of the season.

As for Kobe’s return, the 36-year-old is expected to be an “anchor” for the team next season. Kobe signed a two-year, $48.5 million extension in November and will continue through the 2015-16 season.

The Lakers are set to take on the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday for their final game of the season.

Barack Obama’s Joe Biden birthday wish was just another reminder of how much we miss former POTUS running our country.

On Monday, Obama took to Twitter to wish the former Vice President a happy 75th birthday and it was nothing short of epic. In honor of Biden’s big day, Barack shared a classic meme that read:

“ME: Joe, about halfway through the speech, I’m gonna wish you a happy birth– BIDEN: IT’S MY BIRTHDAY! ME: Joe.”

He captained the image, “Happy birthday to , my brother and the best vice president anybody could have”

Obama’s tweet instantly fueled reaction from folks around the nation, begging him to come back. “We miss the days when the most interpersonal drama the White House had was a President wishing his Vice President happy birthday in the middle of a speech,” someone commented.

Another Twitter user wrote, “Remember when we had a President and Vice President that the world respected? I miss those days!”

In honor of wanting Barack back, we will leave you with this skit by Chance the Rapper from this past weekend’s episode of SNL.
