The War of 1812 began on June 18th as the United States declared war against Britain … now, 201 years later, it’s also the same day that Kanye West will do something. We’re not sure what he will be doing, but it will be something. The rapper took to Twitter, which is always a rare occassion, so tweet out the following:
While Mr. West may be a man of many words during his frequent emotional on-stage rants, he doesn’t appear to be one on Twitter. Still, the tweet has many speculating about its meaning. More than likely, the rapper will be releasing his sixth studio album since June 18th happens to be a Tuesday, the same day albums are released.
The rapper is also scheduled to headline New York’s Governors Ball earlier that month, which would make June the perfect time to drop an album. Kanye has spent most of the year in Paris working on the project that features collaborations with Daft Punk.
Some blogs have claimed June 18 is the day Kanye’s girlfriend Kim Kardashian will give birth to their child, but we can’t imagine Mr. West making something like that public information.
