Exclusive: Cedric The Entertainer Dotes On BFF Steve Harvey

Steve Harvey recently reached a milestone in his career and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The comedian-actor pressed his hands into the cement on Monday afternoon, as friends, family, and fans watched.

During Niecy Nash’s It’s Hard To Fight Naked book signing party, HipHollywood caught up with Harvey’s best friend and fellow King Of Comedy, Cedric the Entertainer, who raved about Steve’s success. “His tenacity, his will, his drive, is just a prime example of what it takes to be a real star in this world,” Cedric shared.

The comedian was there on Monday to support Steve, and was thrilled that he was able to be by his friend’s side. “Steve is in his 50’s and yet he’s reaching some of the highest levels that he’s ever had in his career, even when he was really famous, he’s even more famous now … It was great to share that day with him and be out there as a part of it, and deservingly so, that’s the man,” The Soul Man star added.
