Robyn Dixon Jokes ‘Scandoval’ Took Attention Off Her Marital Drama

Robyn Dixon is a tough cookie.

The Real Housewives of Potomac star is clearing the air surrounding rumors of her husband’s infidelity ahead of what looks to be an explosive new season of The Real Housewives Of Potomac.

The mother of two spoke to HipHollywood about how she’s handling all the chatter regarding her marriage to former NBA star Juan Dixon, and not surprisingly she’s taking it all in stride.

“I’m extremely grounded in my family, and so I don’t really allow outside noise and judgment to affect me,” she said. “And so, yes, there’s a lot going on. Months ago, of course, what you watched happened months ago, and it felt like it was just a pile on of just judgment and headlines. And for someone like me who is introverted, I don’t really like attention. It was a lot to consume, and I just had to kind of just check out and cut it off and just really place my focus on what really, really matters in life, and that’s my family.”

During the season 8 premiere the Housewives were met with a shocking revelation after a woman came forward with a hotel room receipt signed by Juan. The woman says she came to town to see Juan specifically and that’s why he paid for the room for them, but he has maintained that he was just helping out someone who had lost her wallet.

Faced with what she believed would be a season of adversity, Robyn said she did the best she could to preserve herself and her relationship while the cameras were rolling.

“It was a lot back then. I have to remember the emotions back then because I’m on the other side of it now,” she said. “Of course, it’s probably going to be a lot reliving stuff, but I learned that I’m tough. I’ve also learned that I am human. And so to feel the weight of the world coming down on me, that wasn’t a comfortable feeling at all, and it was something that I was extremely grateful for my mental health, because I don’t know someone else in that same position, they might have broken down.

“I really just had to dig deep and just block everything out at some point and realize it’s temporary. Thank God for Scandalval,” she joked.

In case you missed it, Robyn came clean on her “Reasonably Shady” podcast revealing that Juan had cheated on her … again. The reveal sent shockwaves through the internet considering Robyn never shared news about Juan’s affair on the latest season of RHOP despite allegations of him cheating being brought up by cast member Karen Huger.

Robyn and Juan, 45, were married from 2005 to 2012 but separated due to cheating and what she said at the time was an unhealthy relationship. Despite being divorced, the pair still lived together and co-parented their children, ultimately leading to a rekindling of their romance. In 2019, Robyn and Juan announced they were once again engaged and they tied the knot for the second time in 2022.
