HipHollywood Goes On A ‘Mission Impossible’ Adventure In Catalina

Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt and the IMF team are back on a mission to save the world in Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One . But first HipHollywood went a mission of their own to Catalina Island.

In support of the film, we embarked on an action-packed day that included an exhilarating helicopter ride from the Long Beach Cruise port terminal to Catalina Island.

Once on the island we made our way to Descano Canyon Adventure, for an adrenaline filled zip line tour 600 feet above the beach. High above the canyon we took in sweeping ocean views through a grove of towering eucalyptus trees on five separate lines at speeds approaching 35 mph. Along the way, our trained guides shared interesting facts about the island’s flora and fauna, which includes more than 60 species found only on Catalina Island.

It was truly a mission accomplished … not impossible. Take a look.
