Jamie Foxx Thanks Fans Following Hospitalization: ‘Feeling Blessed’

Jamie Foxx is giving his fans an update on his health following his mysterious hospitalization.

On Wednesday, the Oscar-winning actor took to Instagram writing “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed.”

Fans flooded the comments with well-wishes for the 55-year-old. Foxx  also gave a shoutout to Nick Cannon, who will be filling in for him on his game show, “Beat Shazam” and told people he’ll see them all soon.

His daughter Corinne Foxx also thanked Kelly Clarkson who will step in for her as guest DJ while she remains by her dads side at the hospital in Atlanta.

Foxx remains hospitalized more than 3 weeks after suffering a medical emergency. While his exact condition remains secret, tightly guarded by his family and reps — we’ve spoken with sources close to Jamie who say he suffered from a stroke.

On April 12 Corinne, announced that her father suffered a “medical complication” but didn’t go into specifics. Friends of the actor are asking fans to continue to keep him lifted in prayer as doctors continue to run tests.

Jamie was in Atlanta shooting the film “Back in Action” alongside Cameron Diaz when he fell ill.  A stunt double and body double have been seen filling in for Jamie for that project.
