Michael B. Jordan Addressed “Public Break-Up” From Lori Harvey On ‘SNL’
Michael B. Jordan is back on the market.
The Creed III star and director shared as much during his opening monologue as host of Saturday Night Live. The 35-year-old actor detailed going through his “very first public breakup” from Lori Harvey (though never mentioning her name).
“Most people after a breakup are like, ‘I’m going to get in better shape.’ But I was already in Creed shape. So I had to be like, ‘Alright I guess I’ll learn a new language.’ Anyways, estoy en Raya,” he said referencing popular dating app Raya.
Castmembers Punkie Johnson, Chloe Fineman, Ego Nwodim and Heidi Gardener then joined Jordan on stage and attempted to shoot their shot with the actor.
“Aren’t you gay?” Jordan asked Johnson. “I am but you’re Michael B. Jordan and I’m Punkie B. Curious. I mean even vegans got cheat days, right?”
As previously reported, Jordan and Lori began dating in 2020, but made it Instagram official in January 2021. However, less than two years later, the couple called it a quits. Last summer, Lori’s father, Steve Harvey, confirmed the couple had separated.
“Look, as long as everyone can walk away in peace, be friends…I ain’t heard nobody say they busted no windows or nothing,” Steve said. “As long as you don’t put your hands on my daughter, I don’t give a d*mn what you do.”
He continued, “He’s still a cool guy, you know, from what I know. It’s a breakups. I’m pretty sure they’ll be fine. People break up all the time.”
Lori recently celebrated her 26th birthday with her new British actor boo, Damson Idris. Meanwhile sources close to Jordan confirmed to Entertainment Tonight he’s not dating model Amber Jepson.
