Young Thug, Gunna Arrested In Massive Atlanta Gang Bust
Young Thug and Gunna are facing the musicĀ in a sweeping racketeering case.
According to Fox 5 Atlanta, RICO charges have been filed and arrests made in a widespread racketeering case that names Young Thug, real name Jeffery Lamar Williams, and Gunna, real name Sergio Kitchens, in addition to 26 other members of their group “YSL”.
Williams was arrested following a raid at his Buckhead home in Atlanta on Monday, according to police. He was booked into the Fulton County jail and charged with conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) and participation in criminal street gang activity.
During the raid police found guns and drugs after taking down walls and even digging up his backyard.

Gunna,Ā was arrested and booked into the Fulton County Jail early Wednesday morning after turning himself in.
According to the nearly 100-page indictment, Williams along with 27 associates of the enterprise Young Slime Life, “conspired to associate together and with others for the common purposes of illegally obtaining money and property through a pattern of racketeering activity and conducting and participating in the enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity.”
Thug and Gunna are also accused of possession and intent to sell a variety of narcotics, receiving stolen property, and for general street gang activity. They were also charged with being part of a larger criminal enterprise comprised of YSL associates who are alleged to have been involved in a bunch of crimes, including the attempted murder of rapper YFN Lucci.
“There are many people looking at life under this indictment,” Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis said during a news conference Tuesday.
According to the indictment Thugga, specifically, used lyrics in his songs and his social media presence as recruitment tools for YSL and to direct violence. He’s also been accused of rentingĀ the car used in the murder of a rival gang member.
Gunna’s attorney’s are sticking to their guns (pun intended) proclaiming his innocence.Ā “Mr. Sergio Kitchens, known as Gunna, is innocent. The indictment falsely portrays his music as part of a criminal conspiracy.”
He is being held without bond.
