Eminem, Lil Wayne, Nas: Twitter Suggests Contenders For Jay Z Verzuz Battle

Jay Z has had social media in a tizzy after he boldly proclaimed that no one could compete against him in a Verzuz Battle.

He made the claim Tuesday night during his chat with Alicia Keys on her Twitter Spaces room.

Soon after folks on Twitter began naming possible contenders for Hov like Lil Wayne, Drake Nas and Eminem – whose name sparked the biggest debate.

One person tweeted: “You are smoking crack if you think Eminem has a better catalog than Jay Z.”

While another said: “Ask a Third World kid if they know a rapper and all of them would say Eminem before Jay Z bro. Eminem killing Jay Z in a Verzus.”

Jay and Eminem have collaborated musically over the years most notably on the track “Renegade” for  Jay Z’s album “The Blueprint.” They also hit the road together in 2010 for the “Home & Home” tour.
