Surveillance Video Shows Gunmen Open Fire On Young Dolph
More details are pouring in regarding the tragic shooting death of rapper Young Dolph.
As previously reported the rapper real name Adolph Robert Thornton, Jr, was gunned down inside Makeda’sĀ Butter Cookies on Airways Blvd in his hometown of Memphis, TN.
Now surveillance video stills from the deadly shooting have gone viral. In the images two men can be seen gunning Dolph down. One man appears to have a pistol and the other a Draco AK-47 pistol.

The murderers escaped in what cops say was a lighter-colored Mercedes. No one’s been arrested yet. Just a few hours earlierĀ Dolph was rolling around his hometown in his camo-wrapped Corvette Stingray. Before he hit up Makeda’s cookie store he stopped to fill up at a nearby gas station.
The video, shot by someone at a neighboring pump, momentarily shows Dolph in a yellow t-shirt, jeans and a baseball cap. Witnesses say the rapper went straight from the gas station to Makeda’s where the gunmen opened fire through the store window.
Dolph’s attorney and friend, Scott Hall, says the rapper was supposed to attend a charity turkey giveaway Ā on Wednesday. Since his death tons of celebrities have taken to social media to share their condolences.

Dolph began getting national attention in 2014 with the release of his mixtape āHigh Class Street Music 4ā³ and the single āPreach”. In 2016, he released his debut studio album, King of Memphis. He spoke often about the importance of artists owning their masters, entrepreneurship and building wealth in your community.
Dolph was also a devoted father to his two children.
