Reps Deny Claims Christopher Williams Is In Coma

R&B singer Christopher Williams is not in a coma … at least not according to his Instagram account.

On Wednesday following reports that the R&B crooner was in a coma a message was posted to his official Instagram account stating that was false.

Contrary to reports on social media, Christopher Williams is NOT in a coma and is in stable condition and resting comfortably,” read the statement. “Thank you for all of your prayers and well wishes.”

A day early William’s cousin Al B Sure posted on his Instagram account that Williams was in a coma and asked fans to pray.

“Please pray for my better-looking twin brother in a coma,” he wrote alongside a photo of the two of them.

Singer and actress Porscha Coleman also posted a message asking for prayers for Williams. According to Coleman, Williams is currently hospitalized and not doing well.

It’s still not clear what exactly is going on with Williams health wise. Reps for Williams have not responded to our request for comment. In the meantime we will definitely send up a prayer.

Williams rose to fame in the late 80s with a string of hits including Promises and  I’m Dreamin‘. In recent years he made an appearance on season six of the Real Housewives Of Atlanta.

Back in 2009 we caught up with him and he cleared up rumors about his relationship with actress Halle Berry.

Williams also notoriously dated actress Stacy Dash, and has a son with her. He also has two other children from previous relationships.
