Fat Joe Thinks DaBaby Is The Modern Day Tupac Shakur

Fat Joe has fans up in arms after comparing DaBaby to the late and great Tupac Shakur.

On Tuesday DaBaby shared on his Instagram page a clip from Fat Joe’s appearance on Rap City ’21. During the special, host Big Tigger asked Joe who’s the 2021 version of Tupac Shakur, to which he responded: “I don’t know, it’s hard to be these guys. You be asking some crazy stuff. I would say DaBaby.”

To be fair Tigger asked Joe to name the 2021 version of several other hip-hop legends — but this answer had Twitter cracking up.

DaBaby didn’t find anything wrong with the comparison. He wrote, “Agreed 📌 but they gone salt that down too Crack” in the caption of his post on Instagram.

BET Networks aired a special edition of Rap City for one night only ahead of the 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards.

The show was the networks longest running rap series airing from 1989 -2008. Tigger hosted the show from 1999-2005.
