Kelly Price Working On Reality Show With Mona Scott-Young
Kelly Price may be returning to reality TV.
HipHollywood has learned exclusively that the Grammy-nominated singer and her daughter Nia Rolle, have signed on to take part in a new Mona Scott-Young reality TV series.
Diva’s And Their Daughters
We’re told Price and Nia will be featured in the show themed around Diva’s and their daughters. LisaRaye McCoy, Chante Moore, Luenell — and all of their respective daughters — are attached. Price actually worked with Moore during her stint on R&B Diva’s: L.A.
Kelly and Nia shot scenes for the pilot earlier this year but shooting hasn’t been completed. This of course was before all of the recent drama surrounding Price and her family.
Gone Missing
As previously reported, Price came forward on Monday (September 26) and revealed she was not missing but was home battling a severe case of COVID-19. She said during her interview with TMZ that she’s been estranged from her sister Shanrae Price for nearly a year.
Per our source, Price’s daughter and son had not spoken to her since August when she was released from the hospital. We’re told it was her daughter who reached out to Brownstone singer Nicci Gilbert and her aunt Shanrae when she couldn’t get in contact with her mother.
On Friday Price was listed as missing on the National Crime Information Center after a welfare check was done at her Georgia home. Her family told authorities Kelly’s boyfriend — who we later discovered is actually her husband — was keeping her from speaking with the family.
Family Drama?
During her interview with TMZ Price said she was disappointed with her family and also said she believed her daughter was being manipulated.
Nia didn’t seem too happy about Kelly’s comments and posted this on Facebook.
We think they may need to privately mend their issues before doing a TV show, but ya’ll let us know what you think in the comments.
