DaLeted: DaBaby Removes Apology To LGBTQ Community From Social Media

DaBaby has deleted the apology he posted after coming under fire for his controversial comments during Rolling Loud music festival.

Only six days after taking to Instagram to apologize to the LGBTQ community, he has deleted his mea culpa from his page.

Social media users noticed Sunday that the lengthy, statement posted Aug. 2 was no longer anywhere to be found on the rapper’s account.

In the since deleted apology, the Cleveland native, called his Rolling Loud comments about HIV/AIDS “hurtful and triggering” and admitted that he had been “misinformed.”

Since, numerous celebrities including Madonna, Quest Love and Demi Lovato have called him out. He has also been dropped from multiple festivals including — Lollapolooza, Day N Vegas and The Governors Ball.

According to Billboard a significant number of radio stations have stopped playing his music as well. One song in particular — Dua Lipa’s “Levitate” featuring the rap star — has decreased in airplay significantly. Dua Lipa also expressed her disdain for remarks he made about the LGBTQ community in a lengthy message on her social media account.
