Chet Hanks Proclaims “White Boy Summer” Is On The Way

Chet Hanks is cutting up on social media .. again.

The son of actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson jumped on Instagram on Friday (March 26) to proclaim it’s going to be a white boy summer. But according to Chet it’s not just any and all white boys.

“I’m not talking about Trump, NASCAR type white … I’m talking about, you know, me, Jon B,  Jack Harlow type white boy summer. Let me know if you guys can vibe with that and get ready, ‘cuz I am.”

We take it he means white boys with soul. In the caption of the post he jokingly wrote, “Is it bout to be a #WhiteboySummer or am I trippin ???? Tag a REAL vanilla king #Respectfully.”

Of course folks in his comments and on Instagram had a field day cracking jokes at the the 30 year-old actor’s expense.

One user in the comments on The Shade Room wrote: “Yes Shabba Hanks b/c these dudes acting a fool,” seemingly referencing that viral video of Chet speaking in a Jamaican accent.

Another said, “This what happen when ya’ll invite everybody to the bbq.”

Twitter had a mixed bag of reactions as well but was mainly annoyed.

The following day Chet doubled down on “White Boy Summer” and proclaimed that it will also be a “Black Queen Summer” for him.
