JLo And A-Rod Reunite In Dominican Republic Amid Break-Up Rumors

Don’t be fooled by the news that you got … Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are still together folks.

The couple released a statement Saturday morning through their representative clarifying that they remain in a relationship and are “working through some things.”

A source also told Entertainment Tonight, that Lopez and Rodriguez ‘remain a couple’ despite reports that they split after four years together. “Like any relationship, they have ups and downs and are working through things,” said the source. ‘There is no third party involved. She’s currently working in the Dominican Republic and he is working in Miami.’

Last month, speculation arose that Rodriguez had had an affair after Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy was accused of sleeping with a married MLB player. A source told PEOPLE then that the two had “never met” … but rumors continued to swirl.

On Sunday Lopez went on Tik Tok to clap back at the reports. In the compilation video she shares epic clips of herself, and a few of the headlines about their relationship troubles. The video is set to the song “Pretty B**ch Freestyle” by Saweetie.

Meanwhile A-Rod told TMZ that he was not single when they caught up with him in Miami. A few days days later the former baseball star flew to the D.R. to be with his boo.

Lopez is in the Caribbean country filming the new romantic comedy Shotgun Wedding with Josh Duhamel. Per the pictures obtained by The Daily Mail she seems very excited to see her man.

“Alex flew to the Dominican Republic, and Jennifer was excited to see him in person,” a source close to Lopez tells PEOPLE. “They want to spend time in person to figure out their life together.”
