Watch The Emotional Moment When Tiffany Haddish Learned She Won A Grammy

Tiffany Haddish was filled with genuine shock and all the emotions after learning that she had just won a Grammy. And, to top things off, the comedienne found out the news in the most adorable way ever.

Haddish won her first Grammy ever for Best Comedy Album for her special “Black Mitzvah.” Of course, news like that is exciting, but they way she found gave us all the feels. While in the middle shooting an episode of “Kids Say the Darndest Things,” Tiffany got an update in her ear from the producer.

“I just what? I just won a Grammy?,” the 41-year-old asked. “Are you serious?”

It took some convincing but when Haddish realized the news was real she couldn’t hold back her emotions.

“You know a Black woman hasn’t won in that category since 1986? A Black woman hasn’t won for Best Comedy Album since Whoopi Goldberg,” the Girls Trip star sais.

Tiffany went on to share why the moment was so meaningful for her.

“Can I tell you why I’m crying? There’s a lot of bumpy roads that you cross, right? And there are times where you wonder, ‘Am I doing the right thing? Is this good enough? Am I good enough? Am I strong enough to do this job?’ And then you just have to believe in yourself as much as you can. And against all odds, you just say, ‘You know what? I’m just going to put my best foot forward and I’m going to give the world the best that I got.’ Anything is possible.”
