Mariah Carey’s Estranged Siblings Sue Her Over New Memoir
Talk about a family feud. Mariah Carey is ruffling a whole lot family feathers with her new memoir “The Meaning Of Mariah.”
Last fall Carey dropped the highly anticipated book detailing her childhood, marriages and music. Unfortunately her family has some issues with how they’re being portrayed.

Last month the pop diva’s estranged sister Alison Carey hit her with a lawsuit over claims made about her in the book, and now her brother is following suit (pun intended).
In new legal docs obtained by TMZ … Carey’s estranged brother Morgan says she’s falsely accusing him of being a violent person and damaging his reputation.
In one passage in the book Carey writes:
“It took twelve cops to pull my brother and father apart. The big bodies of men, all entangled like a swirling hurricane, crashed loudly into the living room. I was a little girl with very few memories of a big brother who protected me. More often, I felt I had to protect myself from him, and sometimes I would find myself protecting my mother from him too.”
In another passage she claims her older sister “gave her Valium, tried to pimp her out and threw a cup of boiling hot tea on her” when she was 12.
Alison is suing Mariah for at least $1.25 million for infliction of emotional distress. Her brother is suing for defamation and wants major coins as well. He’s also calling BS on Carey’s claims police were called to break-up a fight between he and his father.
He also claims tons of folks witnessed the “deep affection” between him and his mother and denies ever getting physical with her either.
