Vanessa Bryant Calls Out Meek Mill For “Insensitive And Disrespectful” Kobe Lyrics
Meek Mill thought he had some creative wordplay with his reference to Kobe Bryant in his new song, but, like the internet tried to tell him days ago, he fell short … very short. And now, Kobe’s widow, Vanessa Bryant, is calling him out.
Last week, we posted a story about Meek’s new song, “Don’t Worry (RIP Kobe)”, featuring Lil Baby. He angered Kobe fans with the line, “Yeah, and if I ever lack, I’m goin’ out with my chopper, it be another Kobe.” Unfortunately, at the time, he shrugged off the backlash telling his detractors to “wake up.”
On Monday, Ms. Bryant posted the following message to her Instagram story…
Again, with a dismissive attitude, Meek seemed to respond to the message with a few pitiful tweets…
I don’t think we on the same signal y’all .. I don’t see what y’all see… I be looking at the net laughing like I did whet 🙃 I say random shit all day on social … it becomes a trend to hate on me every once in a while but I feed off that shit ima beast literally 💎

And, of course, he received further backlash. But, soon after his initial tweets, he revealed that he had a conversation with Vanessa and apologized.
I apologized to her in private earlier today not to the public…Nothing I say on my page directed to a internet viral moment or the family of a grieving woman! If you care about someone grieving change the subject!

Do you think Meek’s apology was sincere?
