Mike Tyson Feels Guilty About Tupac Shakur’s Death
Mike Tyson says he still feels guilty about Tupac Shakur’s death.
The late rap star was in Las Vegas to see Tyson fight Bruce Seldon the night he died in a drive-by shooting in 1996. Tyson told boxer Zab Judah during an interview for VLAD Tv that he pestered the late rapper to attend the fight because he wanted to walk to the ring while a custom Shakur track played.
“I feel a little guilty about him coming to the fight … me pressuring him (saying) ‘Hey you wanna bring the tape, don’t forget the tape.”
Shakur was gunned down in a drive by shooting on Las Vegas Blvd following the fight. Tyson said that after the fight he planned to join Shakur at 662 nightclub but changed his plans because he’d recently had a baby and decided to go home to his family.
Now looking back on the incident he realizes it’s apart of his life story.
“I come to my senses I come to my objectivity, I know who I am, in my world, this is what happens in my world.”
