How Kandi Burruss Really Feels About Nene Leakes Leaving RHOA

Kandi Burruss caught up with her Atlanta neighbor Steve Harvey for his show STEVE on Watch and opened up about the new season of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta.

Steve didn’t ask her about that alleged stripper threesome at Cynthia Bailey’s bachelorette party, but did get her thoughts on Nene Leakes’ departure.

“I think in negotiations, sometimes we get what we want and sometimes we don’t get what we want and…when we don’t get what we want, we have to make the decision on if we want to part ways and I think [NeNe] made that decision for herself,” Burrus said.

“She will be missed on the show for sure…I’m not trying to take anything from her. She was a great addition to the show … I guess right now she didn’t care to come back this season, for whatever reason.” she added.

Harvey caught up with Burruss for his Driveway Series and also discussed  her time on The Masked Singer, what drives her entrepreneurial spirit  as well as the latest Housewives gossip.

As for where her on-and-off friendship stands now wih Leakes, Burruss said, “we don’t really talk.”

As we reported Leakes left the show after Bravo only offered her a six-episode guarantee. Burruss thinks there’s hope she may still return in the future.

In the meantime season 13 of RHOA kicks off December 6 on Bravo.
