LeBron James Pleads With Hometown To Help Find A Killer
Lebron James is calling on the residents of his hometown of Akron, Ohio to help find the person who killed his best friend’s sister.
James and Brandon Weems have been close since their early days playing in the pee wee football league. The two are so close that Bron refers to Weems (who is the Cleveleand Cavalier’s director of scouting) as a brother, not just a friend. So, it’s only natural that when Brandon hurts, so does Bron.
On Wednesday, Brandon revealed on Instagram that his sister Ericka had been killed.
According to reports out of Ohio, the 37-year-old was found by family members in Akron on. Monday with a gunshot wound to her head. Unfortunately, no arrest have been made, nor have authorities identified a suspect.
Thus the reason why LeBron took to Twitter to ask for help…
AKRON OHIO!! My brother’s sister was murdered this past weekend in her home! My brother family need answers to why and by whom. My city I need y’all to go to work and find out who did this awful, shameful, disgusting thing to such a caring, loving angel! #Justice4EricaWeems❤️💔
