Twitter Still Shocked Da Brat Dated Allen Iverson

Earlier this week Da Brat shocked her fans and Twitter when she revealed she once dated NBA star Allen Iverson.

The 46-year-old MC shared details of her and A.I.’s affair with Kandi Burruss on her Youtube series “Speak On It” after Kandi mentioned she was surprised Iverson didn’t “know” Brat was bisexual. The now-married tv/radio personality went on to tell Kandi how the relationship started and ended.

The couple dated at the peak of their careers some 25 years ago in the late 90s. According to Brat she was very domestic and catered to her basketball player boo.

“I’m a grandma’s child,” she explained. “I’m very domesticated. I like cooking. I like cleaning. I like folding. It’s therapeutic. I used to wake up and pick his clothes out and cook breakfast and j–- his d–– off when he’d wake up in the morning. The things he liked, just to make sure he was happy. And he spoiled me and made sure I was happy.”

Per Brat they were very into each other but split because he had too many groupies and baby-mama drama.

“It was good for a minute,” she said. “Good for a long time. It just didn’t work out. Too many bitches.”
