#FreeSZA Trends As Singer Claims “Hostile” Label Is Holding Music Hostage
Fans have been waiting on new music from SZA for years now. And while most people thought the songstress was delaying the process, it’s actually her label that’s been the culprit and now fans are demanding #FreeSZA.
SZA dropped her critically acclaimed album “CTRL” in 2017. And now, three years later, fans are still waiting for her sophomore effort … and of course, they tweet her about it everyday. Well, the “Supermodel” singer responded stating, “At this point y’all gotta ask punch.” The Punch she is referring to is the president of her record lab, Top Dawg Entertainment.
Well, SZA supporters did just that and the response they got was, “soon.”
SZA also claims the relationship between her and TDE has been rocky for years telling a fan things have, “BEEN hostile.”
Naturally, the singer’s fan flocked to Punch’s timeline to let him have a piece of their minds. It seems to have gotten to the music exec. because he tweeted back, “I am a person and you guys are hurting my feelings.”

We hope they get this sorted out soon — doesn’t seem fair to hold the music hostage if the fans and the talent both want it out.
