Tamar Braxton Update: ‘Get Ya Life’ Gets Put On Hold
As Tamar Braxton travels her road to recovery, her reality show is temporarily on the road to nowhere. The new WEtv show titled “Get Ya Life!” has been pushed back after the singers apparent suicide attempt.
It’s been almost two weeks since Braxton was found unresponsive and admitted to the hospital after what her boyfriend David Adefeso initially described as a possible suicide attempt. There have been several updates on the reality star’s condition, even stating that she was getting the “best” treatment for her mental health.
But, even though things may be getting better for Braxton, WEtv still decided to push the premiere for “Get Yo Life.” According to TMZ, “WE is postponing the debut of “Get Ya Life!” from July 30 to Sept. 10 because of ‘the current situation’ with Tamar.” WE tv added, “At this moment we are joining with her fans and sending strength and healing in the hope that she is getting the support and help she needs at this difficult time.”
Honestly, this decision may be for the best as it has been reported that it was her issues with WEtv and her portrayal on the new show that was the catalyst for her apparent suicide attempt.
Either way, we hope the best for Tamar and pray for a speedy recovery.
