Friendly Fight? Mike Tyson Fans Don’t Think So…
We did NOT have a boxing match between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. on our 2020 BINGO card, but alas, here we are.
54-year-old Mike and 51-year-old Roy have agreed to return to the ring for an 8-round exhibition. The “fight” is reportedly set for September 12th at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.
Of course, fans are wondering if fighting in your 50s is a good idea, but Iron Mike seems to be feeling pretty good telling ESPN Ringside host Max Kellerman that essentially age ain’t nuthin’ but a number!
"Just because we’re 54, that don’t mean we have to start a new career and our life is totally over.”@MikeTyson told @MaxKellerman why he chose to make a comeback.

Andy Foster, the executive director of the California State Athletic Commission, seems to be downplaying the event saying, “This isn’t a situation where they’re going out there to try to take each other’s heads off, they’re just going to be in there moving around the ring and letting fans see these legends.” However, it seems like social media is siding with Mike to take accomplish a vicious victory.
Who’s going to win the fight, Mike Tyson or Roy Jones Jr?
