Who The Hell Would Vote For Kanye … And Why Would They Do It?

Kanye West claims he’s running for President — we’re still not sure if we really believe, but we digress. If you’re like us, you’re probably thinking why would anyone vote for him, especially since he’s given us almost every reason not to. Tap dancing for Trump, sporting that bright red Maga hat, wearing the confederate flag, and calling slavery a choice are more than enough reasons to hit him with the nah. But, should we be concerned that he may actually get some voters? And what the hell would be their reasoning? Look, as you’ll see we tried really hard to get inside the head of a West voter and honestly we’re still baffled, but here’s what they may be thinking…

HE CAN’T BE ANY WORSE THAN OUR CURRENT CHOICES

Oh, but he can. True, Trump’s a narcissist, and Biden’s problematic, but Kanye is BOTH! The rapper seems to think this whole thing is a joke, running on his birthday party banner, and honestly, ain’t sh!t funny in these 2020 streets. We need someone who will take us and our issues seriously.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFORM

We can appreciate that Yeezy’s wife, Kim Kardashian has helped to bring awareness to people who have been wrongfully incarcerated. However, we don’t need Mr. and Mrs. West in the White House to continue those efforts. People have been putting in work, fighting for criminal justice reform, long before Kim and Kanye, and if the recent marches and protest are any indication we’ll be just fine doing it long after they’re done.

LIVING IN WAKANDA SOUNDS DOPE

People, don’t be deceived. Wakanda isn’t real and neither is Kanye’s plan to create one. Playing to people’s emotions and wishful thinking is a ploy … a cheap one at that. Be leery of those who promise the world with no plan in place to execute it.

Like we said, it’s pretty evident that there’s no concrete reason to vote for ‘Ye … even giving it our best effort proves that a Kanye vote is a crazy vote.
