Jess Is A Mess? IG Comedienne Gets Cancelled Over Anti-Cancel Rant

Jessica Moore, aka Jess Hilarious, got questions that need answers. The IG comedienne went on a rant over the weekend challenging the notion of “cancel culture” and asking her fans, ‘why do y’all give up on your own so fast?’

It seems like a valid question — cancel culture takes over anytime a celeb says something out of pocket or even questionable. The “canceling” can happen quite quickly, leaving little or no time for apologies and changed behavior. But, on the other hand, sometimes the cancellations can be valid … like #MuteRKelly.

Clearly, Jess would fall in the former category, not the latter. She has made remarks that many find to be racially insensitive and homophobic, but claims the statements were reactionary and not an attack on a whole group of people. However, she still gets cancelled and seems pretty pissed about it. During her IG rant, the Wild N’ Out star called out people who have no platform for always trying to take the platform away from others.

Her comments didn’t sit well with folks on Twitter who doubled down on their efforts to silence the social media star…
