Nene Leakes Accused Of Inappropriate Relationship With Family Friend

Nene Leakes’ close relationship with family friend Rodney White is now being called into question.

Sources told Page Six that White, a USDA director and Leakes have been engaged in an inappropriate relationship since 2017 and are more than just friends. The sources allege that while Nene and her husband, Gregg Leakes, had been fighting publicly, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star was getting close to White.

Nene, 53, and White, 54, have reportedly been “family friends” for years — prior to her finding reality TV stardom  — but began spending more time together a couple years ago. The pair have been spotted together several times and were reportedly very cozy.

In early January 2019, Nene and White were seen having dinner at Bâoli in Miami. Meanwhile, Gregg, 65, was battling stage 3 colon cancer in Atlanta. During that Miami trip, another source said they saw Nene with a “tall, handsome black man” at South Beach hotspot E11EVEN, where photos are not allowed.

“They were all over each other,” a source told Page Six. “They were touching each other, laughing, giggling, kissing, but it wasn’t like they were full-blown slobbering down. I don’t think she was trying to hide it.”

Another eyewitness added, “She was all over this guy. Kissing, cuddling, holding, sitting on his lap.”

White is from Maryland and works in upper management for the United States Department of Agriculture. A source alleged that Nene entices him with Hollywood perks while he continues to keep company with her.

On Nov. 24, White posted a photo of himself at the “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” clubhouse, the same day Nene had a guest appearance on the late-night talk show alongside Kelly Rowland.

He also reportedly accompanied her to her appearance on “Good Morning America” back in February 2019. He also joined Leakes and gal pal Wendy Williams for dinner in NYC on several occasions. 

Besides NYC and Miami, the source claims the pair have been seen mingling in Maryland, where Nene opened another location of her Swagg Boutique. On social media, White has shared several photos of himself at the MGM National Harbor Resort and Casino in Oxon Hill, Maryland, where Nene has her store — which Gregg manages.

According to the source her The Real Housewives Of Atlanta co-stars also know about him. “Marlo [Thompson] knows who this man is. Cynthia [Bailey] knows who this man is. Eva [Marcille] has seen them together,” the source alleged.

Interestingly it was reported that Kenya Moore also mentioned that Nene was having an affair with a man in Washington DC during the virtual reunion. It was one of a handful of allegations Moore made about Leakes during their heated exchange. Leakes denied the claim.

Leakes has also shared during the season that Gregg was having an inappropriate relationship with a woman that works at their Swagg Boutique, Maryland location. Leakes has also said that she would be okay with having an open marriage. So maybe that’s whats going on and Gregg is award of her relationship with White.

Either way we’re sure Leakes will address the rumors soon.
