No Shocker Here … Kanye West Is A Nightmare To Work For!

Kanye West is apparently high maintenance, difficult, and a pain in the a** — but, this can’t be a surprise to anyone. The highly meticulous rapper is being called out by his former bodyguard who says West is, “one of my least favorite people to work with over the course of time.”

It has to be hard working for ‘Ye. He has incredibly high standards, unreachable expectations, and is quite peculiar — and we get that sense just from his wife, imagine what his employees feel like. One such employee, Steve Stanulis, sat down for a chat on the Hollywood Raw podcast and revealed what life was like working as Yeezy’s bodyguard.

From jump, things were weird. Stanulis recounted their first meeting:

“The first day I met him…it was fashion week. I was supposed to meet him at the studio. When he gets there, we get into the elevator and he’s says ‘aren’t you going to push what floor we are going to?’ I was like ‘I have no idea what floor, it’s my first day.’ So he starts ranting ‘So you mean you didn’t call ahead to find out where I’m supposed to be going?” I said ‘no.’ So he’s ranting and raving. So I said ‘look bro, we can do this one of three ways. One, you could tell me what button to press, and now I’ll know. Two, you could press the button, and I’ll see which one you press so I’ll know. Or three, you can sit in here all day and tell me how important your time is and we are not going to go anywhere.’ Again, that was our first interaction. He went for the first option.”

Steve also stated that Kanye had specific work demands that made working for him all the more difficult. “He wanted you to stay 10 paces behind him on a city street. So obviously if someone is going to come up and do something, by the time I try to run up and prevent it, it would have already happened,” the former bodyguard said.

While it’s not hard to believe Steve’s stories, it is concerning that this is the same guy Mr. and Mrs. West sued a few years ago. In 2016, Stanulis was making the rounds, attempting to sell a story that Kanye got jealous that he was talking to Kim and fired him. The couple sued Steve for $30 million based on the provisions in the confidentiality agreement he signed stating that if he talks he faces an automatic $10 million lawsuit — apparently, they believe there were at least 3 outlets Steve spoke to.

It’s not hard to believe West is hard to work with, but this guy Steve sounds like an opportunist. Two things can be true at the same time…
