Boris Kodjoe Calls Rumors About His Marriage BS

Boris Kodjoe has had it with the internet chatter about his marriage. The model-turned-actor hopped on Instagram to set the record straight and slammed rumors that he or his wife Nicole Ari Parker are cheating.

We don’t know how all this got started, but after doing some digging it appears fans thought that Boris and Nicole were having marital issues after they appeared on comedian Chris Spencer and his wife Vanessa Spencer’s Instagram Live show “Date Night.”

The idea was to give advice and tell stories from their marriage experience. The topic of women being warmed up for sex came up and Nicole went in about what thrills her, using flirting with someone outside of her marriage as an example. She also seemed to plead with Boris to take her on a date again like he did when he was her boyfriend.

Sometime in the last year or so I thought, you know, I wish that he was my boyfriend again,” said Nicole. “I don’t necessarily want to be single, but I miss the single life. I miss the text messages for no reason. I miss the coming up behind me when I’m scrambling eggs and just kissing me on the back of the neck.”

Boris agreed in his IG post that boyfriend time does matter. So far Nicole has not commented.

We’d have to agree with Boris that the chatter is REAL crazy. The couple have been married for almost 15 years. They have two children together and next month will mark a decade and a half for the Soul-Food co-stars.
