Tyler Perry Is The Tipping Master — Find Out How Much He Left For These ATL Restaurant Employees!

Tyler Perry is the GOAT of tipping — he’s out here saving Atlanta restaurants one dub at a time.

While we’re all practicing social distancing, we still need to eat. Some folks have been whipping it up in their kitchens, ordering Uber Eats, or hitting the local drive-thrus. However, Perry has been spotted showing up at his favorite restaurant, multiple times a week, and he’s definitely making it worth everyone’s while.

The producer/actor/writer extraordinaire is a big fan of the restaurant Houston’s in ATL. On Sunday, TP stopped by the Northside Parkway location (as he’s done quite often) and after grabbing his food curb-side (with contactless pick-up, of course) he tipped the staff $21,000. That’s right, over 20 racks for probably a rack of ribs.

According to TMZ, there are 42 employees at that location which means $500 for each one! That amount of money goes a long way for workers who have been severely impacted by the enforced closures and reduced hours of many restaurants.
