Malika Haqq Shuts Down Post-Pregnancy Surgery Claims

Malika Haqq wants her followers to know she’s not going under the knife after giving birth. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star took a moment to comment back at some of her followers who assumed she was having post-pregnancy cosmetic surgery.

The drama all started when Malika posed for a photo with celeb-loved plastic surgeon Dr. Jason Diamond and said she was “fully booked” for a “makeover” after she gives birth.

Fans assumed (for obvious reasons) that the 36-year-old was having some work done, but took issue with how it seemed to be a priority prior to the baby’s arrival.

“Dang have the baby first. Why do females think they need to look amazing right after giving birth? Beyond me. Vanity, I guess,” one person commented. “So sad to hear this. What a shallow life,” another added, while a third wrote, “Really…if you can’t accept the marks that come along with having a baby then you shouldn’t be a mom.”

She swiftly set the record straight, writing, “These comments are hilarious! Dr. Diamond specializes in the face. He’s so elite it would take you 4 months to get an [appointment] with him. Relax ya mind, I won’t be getting a facelift. Lol.”

Malika also replied to one comment with, “Lol wait who said I was getting surgery?! I don’t need it. Never have boo boo.”

Malika’s comments continued, “Folks love to jump to conclusion lol my makeover doesn’t require surgery but to each their own.” She then wrote, “Where did I say surgery? Didn’t happen. There are [100] ways to enhance & improve that don’t require surgery.”

Malika is due to give birth to a boy this month. She recently revealed that ex-boyfriend O.T. Genasis is the father after keeping his identity secret for most of her pregnancy.
