Guess Who’s Back? The Best Twitter Reactions To Eminen’s Surprise Album
On Thursday night, Eminem dropped a surprise album titled, Music To Be Murdered By, and it’s safe to say it was met with very mixed reactions. Twitter seems to be pretty split on whether or not this new Eminem is worth listening to which in turn created some pretty hilarious tweets.
At this point, I just want Eminem to leave us alone.

There were also folks upset about the lyrics and … by folks we mean Arianna Grande fans. On the track “Unaccommodating,” Em raps: “But I’m contemplating yelling ‘bombs away’ on the game/Like I’m outside of an Ariana Grande concert waiting.” You recall in 2017 23 people were killed by a terrorist attack inside the Manchester Arena during Grande’s “thank u, next” concert. Fans began the hashtag #EminemIsOverParty … but even that was met with jokes.
People unhappy with some of Eminem’s lyrics in his new album… loooool have you listened to this guys old school tracks, Slim Shady don’t give no fucks #EminemIsOverParty

Then there was the music video. A song by the name of “Darkness” was the first video from the project and in said visual, Eminem recreates the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting. Yep, you read that right.
While it does look like Eminem is actually trying to push for gun control with this whole endeavor, it seems like a lot of people don’t care about the message if they don’t like the messenger. In an age where rap stars are dying more often and mental health issues and suicide are at an all time high a title like “Music To Be Murdered By” does seem highly insensitive. Even for a guy like Eminem whose made a career out of being outlandish and over the top.
