Kandi Burruss Denies Husband Todd Tucker Threatened Tamar Braxton
Things are not peachy between Tamar Braxton and Kandi Burruss.
During a March 19 appearance on Watch What Happens Live Braxton confirmed that it was Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker that “threatened her” backstage during a concert appearance.
Braxton first told her social media followers in a December 2022 Instagram post that she had a run in with a “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” star and her husband but didn’t name names.
“It really did happen, I’m not lying,” Braxton explained on WWHL. “Like, I’m not looking for attention or drama or anything like that, but that s–t really happened, it was not cute.”
The following day, Braxton explained that Burruss was upset over comments she made about her feud with reality producer Carlos King during a segment on Dish Nation. According to Braxton, Kandi was piping mad when she approached her and had to be restrained by her husband Todd.
“And then Toddina comes and gets her and he says something to her,” she said referring to Tucker, “Then he looks me dead in my face and says ‘you know what it is.'”

Burruss did admit during her Amazon Live show to having words with Braxton but denied husband Todd Tucker threatened her.
“The only thing I’ll say right now is, that’s not true. My husband never said nothin’ to her. He did not threaten her. None of that,” Kandi insisted. “She and I did have words, but he didn’t. Some people like to twist things a little bit, but we can talk about it later on a different platform. Or not.”
She also posted a clip from Addams Family Values where Wednesday sarcastically shades a girl at camp for wanting to play the victim.
“I’m DONE talking about it,” Braxton wrote in another post. “Obviously it happened. kandi wants to deflect and condone her man’s behavior by calling me a “victim”(smh)….it’s abusive and disrespectful and it’s NEVER OK FOR A MAN TO STEP TO A WOMAN!!! Fans don’t have to agree!! PERIODT!!”

Back in October 2022 Burruss alleged (during a Haus of Aaron podcast interview) that former RHOA producer King tried to make a biopic about her band Xscape behind her back and without the group’s permission.
King hasn’t directly responded to her claims.
