Eva Marcille Files For Divorce From Husband Michael Sterling

Another former ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star is calling it quits on her marriage.

Eva Marcille just filed for divorce from husband Michael Sterling. According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the ‘America’s Next Top Model’ alum filed her petition on March 23 in Georgia.

The Shade Room was the first to report the news.

Eva said they are “currently living in a bona fide state of separation.”

The couple shares three minor children; Michael Sterling Jr, Maverick Sterling and Marley Sterling. Eva had Marley with her ex Kevin but her husband had raised her as his own.

Eva demanded primary custody of their children and child support from Michael. The Bravo star asked that Michael be ordered to contribute to the care and maintenance of the children including medical bills.

The ‘All The Queens Men’ star said she is entitled to the divorce based on the grounds that the marriage is “irretrievably broken” with no chance of a reconciliation.

Eva said during the marriage, the parties have “acquired various assets, known and unknown to [Eva], tangible and in tangible. [Eva] should be awarded an equitable division of all marital assets, both real and personal.”

Further, she wants Michael to pay her legal bills in the case. Michael has yet to respond to the case in court.

Michael, who is a trial lawyer and Marcille wed in October 2018.

In January, Eva gushed about how her hubby helped her craft her character on ‘All The Queens Men’ when we asked how he feels about her playing a strip club madam.

“Mike loves it. Mike reads every script with me. He helps me prepare. He loves the characters,” she said. “He’s helped me embellish certain characters. I remember there was a scene with Concierge and I in season one, and he brings me cigars. And my husband is an avid cigar smoker and collector. And so he’s like, well, you don’t bring a woman Cubans. You bring a specific cigar, a specific wrapper. It’s a Connecticut wrapped with a Nicaraguan filler and this and that. So he helps me put an extra umph on my character … He thinks that we are crazy, but he finds himself glued to the TV. He watches it before me.”
