Move over Met Gala, some of Hollywood’s biggest stars turned out in style Saturday night for the 5th Annual Wearable Art Gala.
Founded by Tina Knowles-Lawson and Richard Lawson, the event raises resources to support the WACO Theater Center’s artistic and youth mentorship programs.
It’s also grown to become quite the fashionable red carpet. This year’s gala theme was “Harlem Nights.” Attendees were tasked with showing up in their best 1920s-1950s inspired frocks.
