Man Tackles Dave Chappelle On Stage During Comedy Show
Things got wild at the Dave Chappelle comedy show Tuesday night.
According to folks on Twitter, who attended his show at the Hollywood Bowl, Chappelle was assaulted on stage by a crazed fan.
Apparently he was finishing up his performance when a man ran on-stage and lunged at him knocking him to the floor. Security and his entourage then cornered the man as Dave joked about him getting “stomped” backstage.

Footage posted shows a man being pinned to a wall by security. It’s also being reported that the man was injured by Chappelles’ security.

Following the scuffle Chappelle returned on stage and thanked fellow comedian Jamie Foxx for helping out.

Ironically Chris Rock, who was assaulted on stage at the Oscars by Will Smith, was also in the crowd. Chapelle reportedly joked that he thought it was Smith who tackled him.
Chappelle has been taking part in the “Netflix Is A Joke Festival” to sold out crowds since April 30.
