Tyga Accused Of Assaulting Ex-Girlfriend Camaryn Swanson
Tyga’s ex-girlfriend is accusing him of domestic violence.
According to reports the “Make It Nasty” rapper and Camaryn Swanson got into an altercation after she showed up at his home screaming in the middle of the night.
According to a source close to the rapper, Swanson came over around 3 AM after he told her not to, and she was at his front door, shouting at the top of her lungs.
Swanson alleges Tyga put his hands on her during the argument. She called cops to report the alleged incident. Responding officers saw “visible marks” on her, and they took a report for felony domestic violence. Tyga was not arrested.
Swanson also shared on Instagram video of her injuries. She also refuted claims that she showed up unannounced and was under the influence. She shared text messages that appear to show Tyga sent a car to pick her up at 3 AM.
“I’m so embarrassed and ashamed it had to get to this but I have to stand up for myself,” she wrote alongside a video of herself with a black eye.
Tyga, real name Michael Stevenson, was booked by Los Angeles Police Department Tuesday morning in connection with the incident. He was released from police custody Tuesday afternoon after posting $50,000.
“Hollywood Div booked Michael Stevenson for felony domestic violence (273.5 A PC). The incident occurred on 10/12/21 in Hollywood,” the LAPD’s public information account tweeted Tuesday.
Tyga’s court date is set for Feb. 8.
Tyga and Camaryn reportedly began dating in early 2021. They went public with their romance in March and were spotted out soon after. No word on why they broke up.
