Tamar Braxton Hints At Return To Reality TV
Tamar Braxton could be returning to reality TV!
Earlier this week during a performance Tamar revealed that she and her family have plans to bring back their popular reality series “Braxton Family Values” but on a new network.
A few days later TMZ caught up with her and she shared more details. Per Tamar she has a different type of family TV project in the works — one that won’t follow the conventional “reality” route and won’t pry into her personal life. She also said there are a few networks interested.
You recall Braxton has been very vocal about her issues with her former network WeTV. She’s previously accused WeTV of creating a toxic work environment and having a hand in her mental/emotional breakdown.
“Here’s the thing, everyone thinks I declared war against a network,” she said, “Sort of but not really. I just wanted my family to be depicted the right way, you know what I mean? And as a show creator, I feel like the responsibility is mainly on me. So when creating a show, I want to have full control of a show, especially [if there’s] family.”
Tamar was released by WeTV last summer following her suicide attempt. Despite that, the network moved forward airing her solo series “Get Ya Life” with then boyfriend David Adefeso.
Season 7 of “Braxton Family Values” also still aired as planned without Tamar. Tay told Tamron Hall during an interview last fall that her relationship with her sisters was extremely strained as a result of the show.
Now she says fans will have to stay stunned to see what happens with BFV. We want to know are you excited to see Tay Tay return to reality TV?
