Lizzo is being criticized online after footage emerged of her calling Chris Brown “my favorite person in the whole f–ing world”.

At one point she even jokingly yelled at a dancer who tried to jump in her solo shot. Brown also seemed excited to meet the “Rumors” singer. The meet-n-greet went down backstage at the Millennium Tour stop in Los Angeles.

People took issue with Lizzo being a fan-girl given Brown’s past assault allegations. They also brought up his 2009 altercation with ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

Others, however, were quick to come to Lizzo’s defense, questioning why people wanted to cancel her, but not the dozens of other artists who have collaborated with/shown love to Brown over the years.
I know yall ain’t canceling Lizzo when all your faves have released a feature with Chris Brown in the last 5 years. https://t.co/dd2T7cwodI

You recall Rihanna too has collaborated musically with Brown on her “Birthday Cake” remix and the track “Nobody’s Business” from her Unapologetic album. The pair also rekindled their romance several times after the traumatic incident.
So … do you still Lizzo should be canceled? Sound off in the comments.
