Darius McCrary Denies Dating Sidney Starr

Eddie Winslow is trending on social media. The reason? Darius McCrary (who portrayed Eddie on “Family Matters”) snapped it up with trans reality star/rapper Sidney Starr for a photoshoot, which has sparked dating rumors…again.

McCrary (who played Eddie Winslow on the hit 90s sitcom) did a photoshoot with Starr, which the artist shared on her Instagram page:

“We both are just built special!!!!! 2 hard working celebrities in the industry!!!!!!! Eddie Winslow we love you!!!! @dariusmccrary ! We hear y’all talking !!! #transisbeautiful #familymatters,” Sidney captioned a video of them gazing into each other’s eyes for the shoot.

It’s unclear when exactly the photoshoot went down. Last year (October/November 2020) she shared pictures and videos that appear were taken the same day as the photoshoot with Darius.

Now social media thinks the two are a couple which isn’t sitting well with McCrary.

He posted a video denying a relationship with Starr. His team also issued a statement to The Shade Room accusing Starr of trying to manipulate her friendship with McCary to nab another reality show gig.

“McCrary has kept an amicable friendship with Starr, who has been persistent with creating fake storylines and relationships with our client in a sad attempt to get back on ‘Love & Hip Hop: New York.’”

The rep, who previously repped Sidney as well but dropped her before this incident adds, “Darius has no interest in dating Starr, but will remain friends and support her journey of getting back on reality television. Mona and the executives are aware of her desperate behavior.”

If you didn’t know Starr is a transgender singer and model. She was a cast member on Love & Hip Hop season 9 and most recently appeared on Bad Girls Club Baddies on The Zeus Network.
