Michael B. Jordan Responds To Those Denzel Washington Comparisons
Michael B. Jordan has entered the chat folks.
In case you missed it Jordan was a hot topic on Twitter last week when folks compared him to Oscar winner Denzel Washington.
“I’m having a debate, would y’all agree that Michael B Jordan is the next Denzel of our generation?” one user tweeted.

From there MBJ was trending. Unfortunately, most folks didn’t agree and threw out some other names like later actor Chadwick Boseman.
First of all we need to move away from calling one person the “next” anyone else, but if that title was going to any actor it was Chadwick.

Now Michael B. Jordan has weighed in. TMZ caught up with him in West Hollywood on Friday following dinner with friends and he seemingly kept it cool and humble.
“That’s my mentor man,” he said as he signed autographs from fans. “It’s all love man.”
It’s only right Jordan give Denzel his props as his next role is starring in A Journal For Jordan, which is being directed by the iconic actor.
“Everybody wants to work with him, and he’s a very selective guy,” Jordan recently told USA TODAY when asked about working with Washington. “So the fact that he wanted to work with me was a huge deal for me.”
He went on to say that the movie “was a good change of pace,” after working on numerous action flicks.
In the film, Jordan plays a soldier serving in Iraq who keeps a journal filled with advice and love for his infant son. The film also starring Chante Adams (Roxanne Roxanne) is slated to be released December 10, 2021 .
