Chris Brown Responds To Reports He Assaulted A Woman At His Home

Chris Brown has seemingly responded to allegations that he assaulted a woman at his home.

Following reports that the Grammy-winner is under investigation, Brown took to his Instagram Stories and appeared to call the claims lies writing: “YALL SO DAMN (cap emoji)”. He also added nine crying laughing emojis which could mean he finds the situation comical.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to Fox News on Tuesday that officers responded to Brown’s L.A.-area mansion in the San Fernando Valley on June 18 around 7:30 a.m. and took a battery report.

LAPD spokeswoman Officer Lizeth Lomeli confirmed to Us Weekly that Brown, 32, is currently under investigation for battery in relation to the alleged altercation.

“The female victim advised she and the suspect argued and the suspect struck her,” Lomeli told the magazine. “A crime report for battery was completed.”

According to the police report, the suspect was “not at the location” when officers arrived on scene. No injuries were reported and it is unclear if Brown will face charges.

TMZ initially reported the incident, claiming the alleged victim told cops Brown smacked the back of her head so hard that part of her hair weave came out.
