Megan Markle Says Royals Were “Concerned” About Her Son’s Skin Tone

We knew this Meghan Markle and Prince Harry interview with Oprah Winfrey was going to be explosive, but we weren’t ready for this.

The couple sat down with Winfrey for a special 2-hour tell-all and spilled all kinds of tea on the royal family and their racists ways. According to Meghan things were smooth at first but
quickly changed after the couple wed and she became pregnant.

Initially she was told the royal family would protect her as the UK tabloids continued to make up stories about her but that never happened. Then she made a startling admission that even left Oprah speechless.

According to the former Suits star she was informed her and Harry’s son, Archie, would not get the title of prince, and as a result would get no security either. The reasoning? According to Meghan the family raised “concerns” with Prince Harry over how dark Archie’s skin might be.

“All around this same time — we have in tandem the conversation of, ‘He won’t be given security, he’s not going to be given a title,’ and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born,” she replied.

She wouldn’t say who told her this, but her hubby Harry backed up her story, saying race was brought up early and often.

“That was right at the beginning, when she wasn’t going to get security, when members of my family were suggesting that she carries on acting, because there was not enough money to pay for her, all this sort of stuff,” he said.

“Like, there was some real obvious signs before we even got married that this was going to be really hard.”

Unfortunately it all got so bad Meghan says she contemplated suicide. She says she went to human resources begging to get professional help, but was turned down. Harry said he was afraid history would repeat itself alluding to his mothers tragic death in 1997.

Despite all the drama the couple seemed happy about expanding their family and revealed they’re having a baby girl.
