Beyonce Breaks Grammys Records … And The Internet, Twitter Goes Wild!

We knew this year’s Grammys was going to be a bit different, but we weren’t expecting this! The scaled-back affair was still an amazing event, made even better by the mere appearance of Beyoncé.

Folks were surprised to see Bey & Jay in the audience — especially since they weren’t there for a majority of the show. But when the camera panned and caught the star couple, the shock was palpable.

Oh, but Queen Bey was certainly in the building for a reason. First, Megan Thee Stallion and Yonce won the Grammy for Best Rap Song, where both women took the stage and Meg was just as shocked as us to see Mrs. Carter. It was then that host Trevor Noah revealed Bey had tied the record for most Grammys wins with 27.

And then, this moment. With her win in the Best R&B Performance category Beyoncé broke the record for most Grammy wins by ANY artist in history with number 28! So, who did she thank in her speech? Her 9-year-old daughter Blue Ivy who had just WON HER 1ST GRAMMY! Whew, the flex.
