Trash Talking Kid Apologizes To Cam Newton

The kid who was seen on video heckling NFL star Cam Newton has issued an apology.

By now you’ve probably seen the viral video. In the clip, the teen is seen calling Cam a “free agent” and saying he will be poor soon before Cam clapped back asking him where is his father.

Cam has been applauded for how he handled the situation, because he could have easily put them paws on the kid. Meanwhile the young football player named Jseth Owens has apologized on social media.

It all went down at a 7-on-7 tournament Cam was hosting in Mrytle Beach, South Carolina. He also shared an extended video of the exchange on Instagram and said, “people want to see me arguing with another young man and to see me ‘get in my feelings.’ But the truth is this, I impact kids’ lives in a positive way.”

We wish he would have ended by saying “put some RESPECK on my name” a la Birdman … but we know that’s what he meant.
