Reports: Divorce Imminent For Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

Reports are swirling that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are headed for a divorce and for real this time.

It was widely reported last year that Kim was ready to pull the plug after West went through a serious bipolar episode. Since the couple have been in marriage counseling trying to work our their issues. A source told TMZ, while the subject of divorce has been looming for a while they haven’t given up.

“Their issues have been neither contentious nor ugly, but they do have lots of differences, said the source, “from lifestyle to politics. They are, however, fully aligned on parenting.”

As such, the pair did spend Christmas together and lavished each other super expensive gifts. Kanye gave Kim 5 of the new 2021 Maybachs while Kim gave Ye several James Turrell pieces worth north of $1 million.

But despite their over-the-top Christmas, “divorce is imminent” for the Hollywood couple.

According to Page Six,  they have been living separately for a few months with Kim and the kids in Calabasas, CA and Ye at his Jackson Hole, Wyoming Ranch. Multiple sources tell the site Kim is “done” and has hired divorce attorney Laura Wasser, who presented her in her divorce from Kris Humphries.

“Kim got Kanye to go up there [Wyoming] so they could live separate lives and quietly get things sorted out to separate and divorce. She’s done,” the source continued.

The source added that while Kim has done much in the past to protect and help Kanye deal with his mental health struggles, “Now this divorce is happening because Kim has grown up a lot.

“She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy s–t, and she’s just had enough of it.”

Meanwhile, a separate source says Kanye, who became increasingly uncomfortable and irritated by the Kardashians’ over-the-top reality star lives, “Is completely over the entire family … He wants nothing to do with them,” adding he eventually found their reality show “unbearable.”

Of course we won’t know for certain until a statement is released announcing their divorce, but it’s not surprising news given the events of the last few months.
