Malik Beasley’s Wife Files For Divorce, Larsa Pippen Responds To Drama
Whew Chile, the drama between NBA star Malik Beasley, his wife Montana Yao and Larsa Pippen continues.
Just a few days after photos surfaced of Beasley holding hands with Pippen, Yao has filed for divorce.
Yao and Beasley got married in March after dating for two years and they share a 1-year-old son, Makai. On Thursday, E! News reported that Yao filed for divorce the very same day she saw the photos of him with Pippen.
The photos of the 24-year-old Minnesota Timberwolves guard and the ex-wife of NBA legend Scottie Pippen’s were taken on Nov. 23 at a mall in Miami, Florida. Pippen, wore a mask while holding hands with Beasley, who also wore a mask and colorful striped sweats and a matching hoodie.
Just one week earlier, Beasley left a flirty comment on a post on Pippen’s Instagram, reading, “I just want to take you on a date and treat you like a queen.”
After pics hit the net, Yao posted a message on Instagram basically saying she was blind-sided by the news.
“I’ve always and will forever remain true to who I am and GOD has never let me down,” the model posted on her Instagram Story on Tuesday. “The truth always comes out one way or another. Appreciate all the love y’all for real. Wow… I don’t even know this man..this is wild y’all I’m seeing it for the time just like y’all.”
A day later Pippen posted a message of her own. “Don’t always trust what you see on social media,” she posted. “Even salt looks like sugar.”

According to sources close to Larsa, the 46-year-old was told by Beasley his marriage was on the rocks. Interestingly, sources told The Post that the couple have been living separate lives. Yao was previously linked to Broncos safety Su’a Cravens, whom Beasley got into an altercation with last year.
Word on the street is Yao was still creeping with her ex. Reps for the Montana told E!:
“Montana never cheated, and it’s not in her character. She’s not dating anybody. She’s a family person. She’s focusing on taking care of her son with her parents. They are quarantining together. Her son is her first priority.”
