Tahiry Jose Breaks Down Detailing Violent Relationship With Ex-Boyfriend Joe Budden

Tahiry Jose is opening up about the alleged abuse she endured from ex-boyfriend Joe Budden.

During an interview on Hollywood Unlocked the Marriage Bootcamp: Hip Hop Edition star initially addressed that viral clip of boyfriend Vado attempting to assault her. While doing so she shared that the experience has been all the more difficult because she’s been the victim of abuse before.

“I don’t go around throwing apples or fighting a man. I’ve been beaten before,” she said fighting back tears. When host Jason Lee asked who she was referring to she reluctantly admitted it was Budden.

“That relationship left me with a fractured rib and a broken nose,” she said. “I remember having to talk him out of letting me go that day. I remember having a plan to leave because the reason he was so upset was because I was already leaving. Looking through my phone and shit. But I had already told him. ‘give me two weeks to pack up my things.’ He agreed to it and then started looking through my phone. Next thing you know, I got woken up by him dragging me by my ankle. I managed to get up from that floor.”

Tahiry and Budden began dating in 2005. Their on-and-off relationship was chronicled during season three and four of Love and Hip Hop New York.

This is not the first time a woman has accused Budden of abuse. In 2014, an NYC bartender alleged Joe slammed her head into a car dashboard during a physical fight over her phone. Esther Baxter, who dated Joe in 2011 alleged physical violence as well.
